Associate V Partner
Through grit and guidance, AVP Bharathy Ganeshanantham was able turn her early struggles as a networker around and eventually achieve her biggest dreams — proving everyone who doubted her wrong.
Back in 2002, she was working as a manager for a local software institute in Sri Lanka when two strangers from India came to her workplace, asking for a place to hold their business presentation. She allowed them to do it in her office, attentively listening to the two networkers talk about their proposal despite not being invited to join initially. AVP Bharathy was deeply fascinated, especially when one of the presenters mentioned that they are part of an international business that allows them to work independently, travel across the world, and earn on a weekly basis. These were the “Click” moments that made her sign up — being the very first to do so in the entire Eastern Province. Her family was not very supportive of her decision. In fact, both her parents refused to lend her the extra money to start her business. Fortunately, her aunt came to the rescue, allowing the young Bharathy to start her journey into networking. Without any trainings or actual experience in marketing, she had a very rough start. “Every day, I did the presentations. After eight months, about 87 people rejected me. No one signed up, including my own relatives and friends. Everyone laughed at me. I wanted to prove them wrong.” Looking for some guidance, AVP Bharathy finally turned to her Upline, V Partner V Padma, who then came all the way to Batticaloa to give her much-needed help — showing her struggling Downline how to present the business properly and effectively. With the consistent support from VP V Padma, AVP Bharathy quickly changed the minds of several people in her community, including her own family. She went back to those who rejected her in the beginning, and finally convinced them to sign up. After working for one and a half years as a part-timer, she decided to retire early from the corporate world and become a full-time networker instead. She made sure that her Downlines would not make the same mistake as she did before, telling them to immediately seek guidance from their Uplines upon signing up. “You cannot do this business alone.” Now, she is an esteemed Associate V Partner, travelling across countries and supporting the dreams of countless team members, no matter the challenges. For over two decades, she has been giving back to the company by being part of InService every V-Convention, helping thousands to find their own “Click” — just as she did in her office on that fateful day.
