1. Pre-departure Guidelines
a. All participants are recommended to purchase travel insurance with Covid-19 coverage with sum insured covered minimum USD10,000.
b. Participants coming from African countries are required to apply for Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificates at least fourteen (14) days in advance prior to departure to Malaysia.
c. If you require invitation letter for visa application, please do send your request to [email protected] by 25th September 2022.
d. Provide your flight details, departure, and arrival to [email protected] at least two (2) days prior to departure.
2. Travel Visa Requirements
a. Please make sure your passport is VALID for at least 6 months from date of travel.
b. Your passport must have a minimum of 3 blank pages.
c. Apply for a Social Visa indicating your attendance to a convention.
d. Proof of funds, you should have at least USD 1500 cash in hand/bank account prepared upon arrival.
e. All participants must have the hotel booking confirmation.
3. Travel Documents Required
a. A printed copy of your return flight ticket;
b. A printed copy of your hotel confirmation should be provided as proof of your accommodations throughout your stay in Malaysia;
c. A printed copy of the visa, ready-at-hand for Immigration;
d. A printed copy of the invitation and/or confirmation letter sent to your email upon registration; and
e. A printed copy of Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate proof for countries required by Malaysia Immigration Department for participant from African Countries.
4. Malaysia Covid-19 Safety Procedures
a. Face mask is required at all times in the Setia SPICE Convention Centre and Arena.
b. Only registered participants, guests, V-Malaysia 2022 InService, The V and QNET corporate staff, and confirmed suppliers are allowed in the event space.
c. All participants must observe physical distancing.
d. All participants must help maintain the cleanliness of the event venue.
e. All participants must practice proper hygiene by washing of hands regularly using soap and water or hand sanitizer.
5. Your Arrival Date
The V-MALAYSIA 2022 Registration will start at 10:00 AM on 6 October 2022. We highly recommend that you arrive on October 4 and 5, so you have enough time to get settled in your hotel/accommodation
6. Registration and Wristband Collection
a. You MUST be physically present at the registration and present a copy of the following saved to your mobile phone to claim your wristband:
i. Passport
i. V-Malaysia 2022 e-ticket with QR Code
b. Collection of wristbands/tickets via representation is NOT ALLOWED.
c. There will be no issuance of a refund, a new ticket, or wristband once they have been deemed collected. You are required to purchase again in cases of loss or replacement.
7. No Refund, No Transfer Policy
a. V-Malaysia 2022 tickets are strictly non-refundable and non-transferrable.
8. Avoid Single-Use Plastic
a. Bring your own reusable water bottles, utensils, and bags. Single-use plastic is strictly prohibited within the premises of Setia SPICE Arena for V-Malaysia 2022.
9. Translation Radio
a. For those who will need translation services during the event, translation radio is available for sale starting on 7 October 2022.
10. Other essentials
a. Make sure you have enough to spend on food, drinks, transportation, V-Malaysia 2022 merchandise, souvenirs, etc. Make sure to have your money either in USD or RM.
b. Activate your debit card or local bank card for international transactions before traveling out of your country. AMEX cards are not accepted for purchases.
c. Pack clothes good for 5 days. Expect that the air-condition inside the arena would be extra cool so bring a jacket or shawl you can easily layer over your comfy clothes.
