Life has its method of throwing amazing things your way when you least expect it, and that’s exactly what happened to him. After resigning from his job as an Engineering Manager back in 2000, he returned to the Land of Dreams, this time with a different career. “People approached and introduced themselves to me. I was surprised because they know me, and because of that I feel like I have a big family around the world,” he said.

His new career may be far from what he used to be, but he managed to succeed. When asked how he thinks he was able to thrive in the business, he said that it was by pushing and guiding his downlines to take ownership and become leaders of their own.

“I always encourage my leaders to join The V trainings according to their levels, and ask them to duplicate the morals of Chief Pathman Senathirajah. Be a person who’s hardworking. Forget about your ego,” he said.

He lives by the wisdom of The Desiderata 1. Desiderata is a famous poem authored by Max Ehrmann. It encourages people to see the beauty and troubles of the world through wise, hopeful and compassionate eyes. He also believes in the saying, "Yesterday's gone, tomorrow is unknown but can’t be predicted, so I focus on today".

AVP Willie Martinez started living his dream when he became a network marketing professional. “I now have a Retreat House Resort. I have two children who are already married, and I also have a grandson whom I adore. Now I’m going for a new dream which is to always be near for my children and grandchildren.”

AVP Willie Martinez would like to be remembered as someone who is humble, successful and patient. “I would like people to call me ‘Mr. Humble’ because V Founder Dato’ Sri Vijay Eswaran himself called me that in V-Con,” he fondly shares.
