Moving Mountains

Known as Mahendra to many of his colleagues, Mahendra Kumar Sridhar was a Mechanical Engineer in Bahrain in 1992. He worked on a typical 9 to 5 job struggling every month for fifteen years to make ends meet. In 2000, he was introduced to Network Marketing where he met visionaries Dato’ Vijay Eswaran, Joseph Bismark, Donna Imson, Pathman Senathirajah, and other V Partners. “Since then, I took a conscious decision to choose this path for my future. I chose change.”, Mahendra says.

For Mahendra, InService Brotherhood has always been a place of transformation. ISB builds one’s character and hones his attitude, perception, and relationship building. “It quelled my ego to face the reality of life.”, he narrates.Already 11 years with the company, Mahendra has been a co-facilitator in a few ISB trainings and have shared the experience with the Core InService. Just recently, he attended the Advance ISB Bootcamp as a participant. Joining Advance ISB Bootcamp for him was like giving back to the company. “I wanted myself to be back on the ground after all the growth I’ve had with The V.”, he said. It was an immensely enlightening experience for Mahendra. He learned so much from building relationships with the people he stayed with for several days. He considers “Filling my Cup” as the ISB process he learned from the most. It helped him understand that he is responsible for the character he builds himself on. It inspired him to become a better person. “It was a real challenge not just on the physical aspect. Mental transformation was the more important kind of training we had.”, he says.

“I always believe in aligning our thoughts with the law of universe.”, a mantra Mahendra follows by heart. He attributes success of a person to optimism and hard work. Quoting Dato’ Vijay’s words, Mahendra believes that for him to conquer another mountain, he needs to climb down the one he conquered first. It may be a difficult task but with the ISB training under his belt, he is certain conquering more mountains wouldn’t be that hard.
